Say It 2: Electric Boogaloo
‘Say It’ 2.0 implements features originally left out of the original, specifically a dynamic color chooser. It is also very light weight due to a restructuring of the way the design works. If you are currently using the original ‘Say It’ there’s no need to upgrade but some of the new features are really cool. This theme will also remain the theme for Back and Forth as we prepare for an upgrade and redesign in the near future.

Is one of the really cool new features you speak off being widget ready?
Yes, it does support widgets though this is not a new feature as it was also included in the original version.
its real cool theme, but i dont if its cause that am on a tft monitor or cause my eyes are sore from starin at it all the time either ways, i think the fonts a lil uhm rough edged? and the contents in the side bar specifically the ul li lists need some spacing in between them the look to close and cramped together.
otherwise i love this theme
i could modify it myself rite?
Feel free to make whatever tweaks you would like as long as you keep the link to this site. The best way to improve aliasing on the fonts (the rough edges) is to make image files of the titles you use in your site. Good luck and thanks for supporting us.

This is a great theme and works well with WP 2.1. I was looking for something a bit different that wasn’t too overly graphical, but nice and simple with a smooth feel to it. Thanks for a great theme!
Very smooth and clean. Thanks!

GREAT theme – thank you for creating it.
Quick question: Is there a straightforward way to eliminate the “color choice” option that resides in the upper right? I like the options, but now I’d like to just always keep it one color and eliminate the clutter of that palette.
Thanks again!
For anyone who wants to remove the color chooser, open the sidebar.php file in any text editor and delete everything between these 2 tags:
Also remember that you can change the default color of your blog in the style.css file which you can edit from within your dashboard.

Hi–
I’m testing out Say It 2 at readableblog.com, and I can’t get the search box in the sidebar to go away. Currently (at least in Firefox) it’s actually overlapping some of the other sidebar stuff. Any ideas?
I really like the look of the theme, by the way. I’m looking forward to using it and going live with the site soon.
That is an issue with the way the widgets plug in handles search forms. It should just grab the searchform.php but instead tries to create (and unsuccessfully in this case) its own search form.
I should have thought of that. Thanks! All fixed now. I really appreciate your answering me, especially when the problem was actually my fault and not related to your theme.

How would I go about changing the default header font?
How does this cope with WordPress 2.7?
